Land Loans in San Diego
The City of San Diego stretches from coastal neighborhoods like La Jolla and Point Loma to inland mesas and the northern suburbs around Rancho Bernardo. Canyons cut through many of its older urban neighborhoods, and the housing ranges from early twentieth-century Craftsman bungalows in North Park to post-war tract homes in Clairemont and newer planned communities farther north.
Most vacant land left in the city is on canyon slopes or hillside infill, along with some parcels in the northern areas near Rancho Bernardo where fire hazard zones apply. Slope and sewer availability usually decide what a lot is worth. We lend up to 50% of appraised value on purchase or refinance, and the appraisal is required.
How It Works
Rates, points and fees depend on the parcel and the deal and are disclosed in writing before you commit.

Straight Answers
Yes, up to 50% of appraised value. Slope and sewer access weigh heavily in how those lots appraise.
Yes. We’re a California-licensed direct lender headquartered in Glendale, and we underwrite San Diego County deals directly, including San Diego, rather than routing them through an out-of-state call center.
Up to 50% of the appraised value, purchase or refinance. That’s a ceiling, and the appraisal sets the number, so we can’t move forward on a file without one.
